Mr Noel Williams

Bio:

After a career with Dow spanning 36 years as a Chemical Engineer in Australia, the USA, Hong Kong, and Thailand and later as a senior executive, Noel now works in consultancy as a Specialist Manufacturing Advisor and on charitable not for profit boards. His early career was operating and building Chemical and Plastics manufacturing facilities. He then moved to general management and Managing Director roles in Australia and Thailand.

Most recently in his career at Dow, Noel was appointed Vice President to lead Dow’s Business Development efforts in Asia Pacific, while previously he was President of Dow in South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand, all based in Singapore. Noel is a past Chairman of the Board of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) in Australia and was a Governor and Treasurer of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore. He is a past President and Director of the Australian Plastics and Chemicals Industry Association (now Chemistry Australia). Noel also serves on the Board of the Dow Centre for Sustainable Engineering Innovation.
